Garage Sale Scores Part 2

Hope you all had a relaxing Easter weekend..

We had a great time having our annual meet up with some old school buddies in Ohakune..
Good times.

Here is the 2nd part of the scores from the garage sale a couple of weeks ago..

Old chairs like the ones that were everywhere in schools.. I really love them.  They are 'adult' size, not the little kiddy ones. Made by Sabel, Aust.
There were 6 but one had lots of obscenities and graphics scratched into it!

FINALLY found a kenwood mixer!
This has been a major covet of mine for years.
Here she is whizzing up some easter meringues.
Shoes for Iris.

MINT condition tin trays to add to my collection. None of my others are in great nick like these! No dents or rust.

Just love old plastic baskets. I think y'all know that now!
The little dolly has matching knitted gruts on.
Maybe for the wall..

Picnic ware to add to my set. There was so much stuff at that sale that I didn't even notice these until RIGHT at the end.

More bookery.

Clothes for Arlo and Iris mainly.
GREAT handmade dress for Iris. So perfect.

The kids in the weekend at the place we hired with 5 other families.
Bringing them up right.
(by the way, that's the holiday venue! We don't have a big f-off tv like that!)
Found some easter eggs on our bush walk..

So that was part 2.. I think there'll be another to come.

Hot Air Balloon Festival has started here in Hamil-vegas.
Fun times.

I need to catch up on blogs/comment..

Happy Days..

Great haul! Those tins are pretty awesome. I used to collect serving trays from England in my teens. Now I just collect fabric and patterns. Well not *just* that but that's what I enjoy.

That little girls dress is a great score...I think I had that same mixer. It was given to me years ago by my mother in law, but had seen better days. I kept the bowl and thrifted the rest. Best bowl to make cakes and biscuits in.

I had one of those trays when I was a nipper!!! Oh yes the Balloons, and we have rain. Hopefully tomorrow the sun will shine and the balloons will fly. Frankton Red Cross has all it's clothes half price until tomorrow. If you haven't been then maybe you should.

Fabulous Kenwood mixer, and those chairs are wonderful. I love the fact that you can stock up on great clothes for the kids for very little money - I am always appalled when I see full retail prices for kids' stuff, who pays those prices?
That groovy 70s tree fabric would look great on the wall, and The Magic Roundabout? Ahh, memories....
Glad you had a good Easter weekend away! xxxx

I'm sure those woollen grundies must have been knitted by my mum!! Can't have the ol' whatsit giving us a flash can we ;)? Your beautiful, mint trays remind me of the chopping board Vix found at an oppy this week - perfect condition, never used! I'm sure the trays must have been just put away an forgotten about, but how on earth did they avoid rusting? Five pretty chairs for five wee botties, a stack of precious colourful clothes and PP shoes ... you did so well! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend:) xoxox
