COLLECTION SELECTION - New LINK PARTY...

This is something I've wanted to do for a while!
PLEASE JOIN US!!!

SO here's my first COLLECTION SELECTION.. I talked about these in my first month of blogging. I had planned to document one of my collections weekly.
 Fail!
 I think I got to Week 8..

SIFTERS

This is most of  my Sifter Collection.
I love them.
They are mostly all functional. I use them, and have them in a row on a high shelf in the kitchen..
This is them in 2008 at a Collector's Fair here in Hamilton..

My favourite is the birdie one  on the left of the 2nd row..
Most are Propert and Willow brands.

They are all bought here in NZ. I never saw a single one in the UK, despite searching high and low. I have seen a lot on EBay USA..

(linking up to OP SHop Show-Off and to The Nifty Thrifty coz y'all know I love a good link up party!)

What a great collection. If you are ever down in CHCH there's a shop in Woolston you should visit. It's more an antique shop, but had loads of sifters. :) Hmm, am thinking about the Tupperware I've got, not sure it's quite enough to be considered a collection though.

Wow, that's a collection and a half. I had one (which I've donated to the charity shop recently) but it was boringly plain and nothing as fabulous as any of yours. xx

I have an op shopped sifter which I use all the time but it's just plain. Yours are fabulous. I love the floral ones.

What a legendary collection!! I only have one sifter as that is all I ever use, however I can easily justify 3 tala measures, metric, imperial and pretty. It looks like I might be on a slippery slope.

Oh my... I love love love.

I have managed to come across two sifters. One in your collection and one you don't have on display. Hope to find more in my travels.

Hi there - can't remember how I found you (was blog hopping at lunch) and saw your post. I linked in with my African American rag dolls (and even have one more not pictured).

Thank you for hosting.
