Op Shops come.. and they go!

I checked out the new SPCA op shop here in Ham, finally! Heaps of cool stuff there!

So I am in love with this turquoise suitcase, in perfect nick. $5
It makes me want to leave home.
Funky boots for my friend's daughter aged 11 (who happened to be with me..I would have bought them for her if she hadnt been with me.) They have zips ie faux laces. Inspired!
Toiletries bag - I love these.. Velcroed, not zipped  - also inspired!

From our new Hospice @ 5x Roads..
if you know NZ bush - this is just what it's like. I've never seen a hand-coloured one. $2 This will be given to husbo for his birthday on Monday.
(among other things of course!)

Back of the picture..

My son is STOKED with this practically new coat. He estimated it would have cost $60 and couldn't believe it when I told him it was $3 at the op shop. LOL

Cute knitted tank for the 1 year old.

You all know I get a lot of these. I can't resist them. 50c

BEAUTiful plate.

And Assisi Op Shop (Ham East) is now closing down - I got a few dresses  in their closing sale... this is one. Will put them all in the next post..

Have a great weekend!

Great haul! I'm always on the look out for a nice matching vintage suitcase. I found one that had the key but it wouldn't open! I figured not to deal with it and left it.

That suitcase is fabulous. I love the boots too. They remind me of some I had when I was a kid.

O, that gorgeous toiletries bag!! I have a bit of a thing for them, and have one that is almost identical, in yellows! I too, love that turquoise suitcase, and it's vinylTASTIC!! Doesn't get any better than that!
O, jeez, opshops were closing here even before the quakes! I blamed the Savemarts. Now we're getting a new wave of hospice and Red Cross shops-they really aren't very good for good old fashioned opshopaholics like ourselves!

My local op shops aren't cutting the mustard at present *sigh* but yours sure are! I'm in love with your turquoise suitcase and could happily run away from home with it! Love that basket with the pretty floral pattern too, and the plate is pretty, I have one similar hanging on my wall!
