Recently Hunted and Gathered

Vernon Ward mirror, with my nostrils in it.

These are gumboots (wellies) but not as I know them.. they're made of light weight stuff as you can see. But totes waterproof. They're worth having a rainy day for. (not happening here - my region has just been officially declared in drought..)

Tin badges.
ORANGE suitcase - boom!!! $2

* 2 nostalgia puzzles (early 80s)
* Little forks set in box
* Another view of them boots
* hand bag for me
* hand bag for Iris (chosen by Iris)
* cottons (obviously)
* Game - blast from the past. Very cool.
* A groovy picnic set that my kids will LOVE. I just need to find another one the same so I have enough!

Butter dish. I have been looking for one I like... found it! Has a middle insert thing that makes it easy to wash.

Scores!
None of this set me back much at all.

I'll link up to some thrifty linkies soon..

Happy Days to you all.

Oh OH what truly fabulous finds. Love the wee fabric bag that cutie pie Iris picked.
The gum-boots are super duper cool, very stylish for puddle jumping.
Then the tin badges, just love the "Lone Ranger" and the sheriff one to.

I love the gumboots(?) and the butter dish thing! Ours is so ugly it will never appear on the blog. Good to see others who love a good bit of butter though.

Been missing your posts AGAIN!!! There seems to be some kind of voodoo thing happening between our corners of blogland! As always I LOVE your finds....the mirror is kitsch cool, the boots are da bomb, I'm a bit gaga over those tin badges, love the suitcase, little forks & the bags (goes without saying). Are you growing tired of seeing that blue sky yet? I get kinda cranky when it's sunny & bright day after day. Xx
