I Heart Vinnies

I popped into Vinnies op shop the other day. Still in my top 3 in this town.

I spent $10 and got this stuff...

Um yeh I think I have enough pillow cases but I can't leave them behind..
A glasses case to add to my collection. $1

tWO LITTLE CUTE dudes.

My lovely assistant.
In other news..

I am finally, and slowly de-greying the walls of our house.

Starting with the toilet room, of course, as you do!

Wonderful weather here.
Gardens Arts Festival on right now which is AMAZING.

Happy Days

Ohhh I am super jealous of your pillowcase score. I'm having such a major dry spell with. I'm desperate to find more to turn into cushion covers for our lounge, so we have cloud of excess vintagey cushions everywhere. I'm desperately seeking yellow and orange tones. You've done well mama. The glasses case has me rather smitten too and snaps on the painting we are about to start on re-painting our place of coming weeks and months. Although my hubby won't go for crazy colour schemes at least I have feature walls to though some personality into. Need to reignite the retro wall paper discussion for the lounge......wish me luck.

Woah, lovely lovely pillow slips. Are you going to use them as pillow slips (I do!) or turn them into something else? Love your header and your little assistant. xx

Haha I picked those pillow cases up and put them down again. It was very tempting but I was a good girl which you obviously aren't ;)

I love your pillow case haul, and your gorgeous assistant, so helpful!
Cute little cat and deer too. I so want to make a comment about nice jugs, but I fear it may be misconstrued...
Get going with that colour in the loo, it looks great!
PS. How is your friend's daughter doing? Any progress? xxxx

The pillowcases are lovely. I can see why you couldn't leave them behind. I love the glasses case. The pink walls look great.

What a mega pillow case score!!!! I think we share very similar tastes because I adore everything you find. Vintage sheets & pillow cases are pretty hard to come across here. I always look but rarely find any. And super cute kitsch little animals. My house is being overrun by them....but I love it that way. Xx

Great finds! Especially all those pillow cases - they are getting rarer here!

Oh Vinnies how I love thee! Your clothes at my local outlet are a pile of shitty, polyester, over-priced crap ... but how wonderful that your voly's haven't cottoned onto the glorious treasures to be found in the manchester section! Don't stop collecting those precious vintage cotton pillow cases, sheets etc, some marketing wanker will one day cotton on and slap a $8 price tag on those pillow cases - grab 'em while you can! I do!! I'm completely head-over-heels in love with the jug with the pink roses:). So happy you're having such a lovely summer! xoxoxoxoxo

HOLY FLORAL PILLOW CASES BATMAN!
You scored quite the batch of lovliness.
A pink toilet room? FABULOUS! I don't think my hubs would let me do that no matter how much I wanted too. (Maybe if we had our own little ensuite he would) hmmmm something to think about for the future. *eheh*

I love those pillowcases! I can think of so many fun uses for those. I have a hard time leaving pretty textiles like that behind too. Now following you!

I am in love with the vibrant colors of those pillowcases! You can never have enough. The kitty and deer are the sweetest and definitely something I would have picked up too.

Have a wonderful week,
