Cute applique on an apron - I am flinging this on the sewing pile in the hopes that I can transform it into part of a skirt at some stage. .. |
My eye was drawn to this fabric. |
VERY exciting - remember when houses had large photo murals on feature walls?! SO cool. Quite kitsch, but y'all know I love me some kitsch!!! These are brand new and HUGE (4 panels) |

I love seeing your op shopped finds....I never quite know what you'll show us next. How gorgeous is that applique, it definitely deserves to be featured on a skirt. The kitsch swans reminded me of Vix. And those fabric bags are super sweet. Xx
hi there..love your new header..what wonderful carpet! great finds again as always. I did some op shopping yesterday (found great fabric) and LOST THE BAG IT WAS ALL IN!I have tried to not cry about it all day, and hope that a worthy person who will appreciate it found my treasures x
The gorgeous fabric would have certainly peaked my interest too.
All those bags! Someone couldn't stop making them, even though they weren't being used, that's rather poignant...
Great fabrics though.
Love the swans, and are you going to use the mural pics? Go on, you know you want to! xxx
I dont recal an era of giant photo walls (a kiwi thing maybe?) but i love the sound of it!

One year a gas station was offering that type of draw string bag, everybody them, I still see them at the thrifts.
I remember making draw bags for my lads when they were small. They had lined ones for there swimming gear, unlined for the library. I love bags, boxes and containers!!!
omg love the fabric in those bags and the swans!!!! i have recently started a collection of white swans (bet ive told you that a gazillion times!) love love love it all...the huge window nural made me smile as mu husbands family up until very recently had one ion their lounge complete with fake curtains and everything! It was massive and rather unseemly! mountain streams and waterfalls in the middle of a birmingham terrace!
I love that apron and fabric. The apron would make a cute bag too. Love your work as always. :)
