So that's what you do when you've got so much to do!
I'm sposed to be packing boxes, cleaning stuff, selling my house etc..
So I sewed last night till 2am. Cushion covers for my friend Kathy's 40th.
Used some of those woollen blankets. So nice to sew with. And I remember being a kid and listening to Mum sew as I went to sleep...
Hope all my bloggy watchers are hapy and healthy right now!

georgeous cushions, lucky friend! i love the retro fabrics you've used. are they from vintage sheets?? btw, i'm most impressed (and well, yes, jealous!!) by your collection of flour sifters. i found 2 when i first arrived in nz, but i haven't seen any in opshops around here, must look closer, a whole lot of them looks really great on a shelf like you have done. and finally, thank you for the lovely comments you have left on my (new looking) blog! good luck with the move, can't wait to see the pix of the new house... xx
with all you've got going on its a wonderful thing to handmake a present, they look great x

Sophia
