I don't NEED a thing (except a quieter life some days, and MUCH more money would be quite handy)
And I'm quite happy to just see what the Thrifting Goddesses give me,
but every now and then something presents itself that I think I would quite like!
So here is my new random series-
CURRENTLY COVETING
I took my carpet in to be turned into rugs by a lovely man who continues to apply himself to his craft (I love that) and he cut and edged my axminster rose carpet..
Anyway, on his HUGE pile of offcuts (mainly variations on grey and beige) I saw this..

| Imagine a floor of this!! Axminster (of course) and SO cool. DROOL worthy.. I brought it home. It's just a strip. But once I unfold the edge and take the tacks out it might be about 30cm wide or so.. I guess the Doll's House will get some, and I'm thinking what else to do with it. I might line a shelf with it. And one day, you never know... At a garage sale somewhere..... Are you coveting anything currently?? Happy Days! |

Ya can't beat a nice bit of Axminster. We had Axminster carpets back in the UK, one whole room was carpeted in it once after a win on the horses. It'll last for years :D I covet everything, I'm greedy like that hahahah
That beautiful carpet would ALWAYS make me smile forever and ever!!! xo
I am coveting hutches I want one--I may have found the one I want/need and I WANT it so so bad!
My sister had that same carpet in her first house!
That carpet is fabulous. Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure the carpet you have in your header is the same as the one my grandma had in her house.
Its lovely carpet but so damn expensive.
Lovely pattern and colours - so groovy! Nope, not coveting anything, it just makes me unhappy! xxx
I covert therefore I am!....lol too many to list...but a west german lamp base in lava glaze is at the top!!...it will then live on as my headstone! Al x
I would be in pure bliss with a bedroom carpet just like that.
do you know i want a caravan by the seaside and a cravan in the garden for an art studio...like really want one! also some 70's bell bottoms and some more windows in my house...i want more light! loads more...somebody zip my mouth closed! xxx OK jut a few more i wantsome art by cathy cullis, some orpginal photography prints by Vivian Maier...god i love her and her work byt crazy expensive! I also would commission a painting by Kate pugsley...i want a new lens for my camera and roses for the garden...lots of roses! OK gag me now!!!!!!!!
