AN oldie but a goodie

This is one of those catch up jumble rumble posts..

I went to a great Jumble Sale in November or December..
(St Marks Church if you're interested Hamiltonians)
This lot cost me under $10.
For realz.

They REALLY knew how to do a SALE.
Huge tarps spread under gazebos with a 20c, 50c, $1, $2 and $5 area.
WIsh I'd taken my camera.
SO GOOD. Just mainly boxes to rummage through.
Good old-fashioned fun.

Hawaii kitsch. That big pineapple walks.

Box of envelopes (50c)
Cool carraffe (20c)
Plastic platter that looks like cut glass, and is SO useful. (50c)

* 3x melamine rose trays
* clothes for Iris the best dressed girl I know
(they also had fill a bag for $2 but I didn't photo that)
* table cloth
* Bizarre ragdoll clown, that I only got for the outfit!

A barbie with the funkiest hair-do any kid ever gave a barbie.

SERIOUSLY
I have coveted one of these
for YEARS
\ever since I saw one at my aunty's house.
This one works and was 50c.
STicky labels and everything.
SHeesh that is so much fun. I'm gonna turn into one of those people that labels everything in my house. Or not.

Cute glass serving plate. 20c

I've mentioned before how I love OLD plastic baskets. They LOOK cooler, they feel much nicer in my hands.
And check the sky out in that mirror.
Dang we haven't had rain here for 6 weeks.
I am not used to this.

A 20c ugly table set that I KNEW my kids would get buzzed about...
...see what I mean!!!!
Cute-ness.
Especially this line:
"What do you know about rocking a wolf on your noggin?")

That's not all that was in the boxes.. but I don't want to bore y'all too much..
It was a great, cheap sale..
I stashed the boxes in the garage until the other day when I finally photo'ed them.
It was a bit like christmas.

Speaking of sales, there are some EPIC ones around these parts tomorrow..
I might be in attendance.
(Who knows?!)

Happy Days

Linking up to Blackbird has Spoken for the op shop show off (although not op shopped but I think she'll let me off!)

That Barbie's gorgeous, she reminds me of Desiree! Some kid was very cool!
That walking pineapple is so ridiculous and I absolutely love it! xxx

I did a similar haircut on my Barbie as a kid, was trying to give her a "bob". I love the pineapple x

My sister and I used to chop off our Barbie's hair. We really didn't care for Barbies.

You got a great haul. In a couple of weeks, garage sale season will start out here. Can't wait to see what we find.

What a crazy sale your table setting is cute. Super big yay to the Dymo, to think I used play with my mums as a kid now I'd kill for one.

Those prices are amazing - but not as amazing as the walking pineapple!!!! Your family look great sitting at the table with the napkins - is meal time orderly or chaotic?? Love the formica table. Haven't forgotten those books I promised. Isn't the summer wonderful?
Have a great weekend.

Under $10? Wow! I love the Hawaiian kitsch and the label maker. I can't believe it was 50c. Those things cost about $50 new.

You grabbed some real bargains and I can tell you had a real ball!!! I love those sturdy old plastic baskets too. They always scrub up like new - I have two fruit baskets. I'm sure we can send you some rain - it hasn't stopped here for 10 days!!!! xxxx

I LOVE Hawaiian kitsch but it's not something you find much here, so love those pineapples, they're mad. You got some great stuff, just rummaging is so much fun and if you turn up a gem, even better!

Wow such amazing prices! Love your whare too, from what I can see in your dinner table pic. Nice to meet a Hamilton op-shopping-blogger mama! I grew up there and have only been down here in Welly since 2010. x
