But I am still excited as there are SO MANY cool things in there.. WOW I've found some brilliant things over the years! I had forgotten about a lot of it!
Like this sample book from Japan.. |
Bloody fantastic! |
These are clothes that I have worn a lot over the years, but completely forgot about them for about 10 years at least. |
Sometimes I'd find a photo and think to myself "What the hell happened to that dress/coat/shirt/skirt?" |
The memories come flooding back.. it's a beautiful thing! Trouble is, quite a lot of it doesn't fit me right at this moment! Can be remedied eventually.. |
Fantastic wide tie. One of my boys bounced in and asked me how to tie it. I tried about 8 times and failed each time.. He was most unimpressed! |
Just as well I'm not a bloke. |
I took a photo of myself (well my shoulder) in this fab shirt jacket thing. Magnificent. |
I was thrilled when I came across this maxi. I often have thought about it and wondered what I did with it.. |

Oh the sample book is the best find, wow!!!
Happiness to you sweet!!! V
Sample book is AMAZING! That poor maxi! Can you sew it back up and cover with a bit of velvet ribbon perhaps?

Your a hoarder after my own heart but a better hoarder than I used to be,I shamefully cut a par of very vintage swimmers once (hanging my head in shame) least you should be able to do something with that maxi I hope xx
Wow what a large loft you must have! The thing about having a good clear out is that you (well I do anyway) tend to want to keep everything and then have to find a place to put it again. Happy sorting.
Love from Mum

That pattern book, that tie, your blouse! Just lock me away in your attic and I'd be in psychedelic heaven.
That maxi looks fab, just cut it and wear it as a fabulous mini with the loudest tights you can find. xxx
PS Go All Blacks
Look at all that lovely fabric. I love finding things I've misplaced it's like hidden treasure!
By the looks of it you could have your own sweet little vintage store. *hehehe* Such gorgeous colors and patterns on your re-dicovered finds.
Oh my goodness - I wish I had a loft with all this treasure, it looks like Aladdin's cave to me! I agree with Vix, make the maxi a mini.
